Prayers for Roxeter

At 3 am she wakes up, hastily throws on a black cloak, she makes her way down the stairs, and using the Desire at Dockshidden trap door she makes her way down into the caves. She only recently found these caves, she was sweeping the bakery floor and one of the floorboards creaked oddly, upon investigation, she found the trap door.

The caves bring her out at a small farm area, and while walking through she picks a cabbage from one of the fields. A dog barks as she passes the docks, but finally she makes it to the ferry undetected. She rides the ferry across the river, and makes her way up the hill. The light emanating from the circle beckoning her.

Desire Circle RightAt 3:30 am, she places the cabbage in the middle of the circle and begins to chant….

Facing east, she draws a pentacle with her athame in the air. Masters of the Watchtowers of the East, Masters of Air; I do awake and summon you.

Turning to the south, she redraws the pentacle, Masters of the Watchtowers of the South, Masters of Fire; I do awake and summon you.

Turning west, redrawing the pentacle as she does. Masters of the Watchtowers of the West, Masters of Water; I do wake and summon you.

Finally turning to the north, she redraws the pentacle again… and says Masters of the Watchtowers of the North, Masters of the Earth; I do wake and summon you.Desire Circle Left

Taking a small pouch out from her cloak, she opens the pouch and the scent of dried orange peel and nutmeg waft through the air. Desire leans forward, pouring the contents of the pouch into the fire, and asks the Goddess to bless the town with prosperity.

The sun starts to rise slowly, and she knows it is time for her to get back to the bakery, before she is noticed. She hurries back and slips back into the bakery, starting the morning chore of mixing all of the dough that she will need for bread.
